The leadership of the APC on Thursday announced that it has postponed a meeting of the National Caucus and National Executive Committee, NEC, earlier scheduled for April 24 and 25, 2017 respectively.
The meeting is supposed to pick a date for the national convention of the party. There had been a lot of pressure on National Chairman John Odigie Oyegun to fix a date for the meeting. Some APC leaders, including Bola Tinubu are not happy with Oyegun’s style of leadership.
APC Spokesman Bolaji Abdullahi who announced the development said “the postponement is due to unexpected developments.”
“New dates for the meetings will be communicated in due course,” he added.
