Imo Residents Destroy Sirleaf Johnson’s Statue Erected & Unveiled By Gov. Okorocha In Imo (Photos)

A Facebook user identified as Chris-lance Osondu-Onyemechara, has taken to the social networking platform and shared the photos of the newly-launched Ellen Sirleaf Johnson road sign built by Governor Rochas Okorocha in Owerri, the Imo state capital, which was just destroyed by residents of the town in a bid to show their displeasure with it.
Recall that the Liberian President, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, was honoured last year November with a statue and a signpost by Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha.
As Nigerians, especially the residents of Imo heavily criticized and condemned the governor for honouring foreign leaders and “doing less” for his people in Imo state, have made their threats real by destroying the signpost.
