Court Bars Suspended Edo PDP Lawmakers From Entring Assembly



An Edo State High Court sitting in Benin City, has restrained the four suspended lawmakers, Who defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, including the Deputy Speaker of the House, Mr. Festus Ebea, from going into or entring the Asembly premises.

Meanwhile the Edo state PDP Chairman, Chief Dan Orbih, however, said that the party had filed an apeal against the order and also asked for a stay of the execution of the order.

Chief Dan Orbih, said:

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo state said yesterday, that there  should be any bloodshed in the current crisis in the state House of Assembly, then the Inspector General of Police should be held responsible.

The Edo state youth who addressed newsmen in Benin City yesterday, urged political gladiators in the state to sheathe their sword and allow development to rain in the state.
