Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the 2018 Player Of The Year at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai on Thursday.
The Juventus forward attended the event alongside partner Georgina Rodriguez and son Cristiano Junior.
MySportDab report the 33-year-old beats France’s Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezzman to the award for the fifth time.
He said: “What better way to start the new year. Thanks for the appreciation and the care that I have received today.”
Other award winners were Best Coach of the Year Didier Deschamps and Brazilian legend Ronaldo, who received a Player Career Award.
