Not less than three people – a doctor, a pharmacist and another person, are among those who had primary contact with the late Port-Harcourt doctor, late Dr. Ikechukwu Sam Enemuo, the first Ebola victim in River State, have been quarantined after having symptoms of the virus.
Though, they are still waiting for the result of the test. The late doctor Emenuo’s widow, who tested positive to the virus is presently receiving treatment in Lagos.
This was stated on Sunday in an update on Ebola outbreak in Port-Harcourt by the Rivers state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Sampson Parker.
Dr. Enemuo contracted the virus after secretly treating a Nigerian official of the ECOWAS in a hotel and died on August 22 in Rivers State capital.
