Due to the corcern about the rapid spread of Ebola virus, which has claimed several lives, Ghana has officially stop flights from four West African Countries; Guinea, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and Liberia.
Charles Asare, who is the Managing Director of the Ghana Airport Company said the measure was pat of their emergency management plans that officials are rolling out to combat the spread of the virus.
The government has also made strict restrictions on the movement and management of Liberian refugees in camps in the country.
The Minister Of Health, Kwaku Agyeman-Mesah, urged Ghanaians to please bear with the government as they work to contain the virus. He said, “Preparedness is not an event but a process,”
