According to an Australian news media, A man, identified as Sydney’s father sold is car for $15,000. He was supposed to use the money for his mortgage payment and other expenses. unfortunately for him the money was mistakenly baked by his wife, not knowing that the husband kept the money in her Oven.
The man said he decided to hide the money oven because they rarely used the oven, but it turns out that the wife decided to use the oven that day. The wife preheated the oven to warm up chicken nuggets for her two children and and she cook the cash in the process.
It was all we had, i have nothing in my name and that money had to go to my mortgage, he told the news media. He approached the Reserve Bank of Australia for help, and the Bank advices people to take damage currency to a bank.
According to the reserve bank policy, if lot of pieces of the same ticket is presented, the bank will worth each piece and value in proportion to its size. The total value paid must be the same face value of the original ticket.
