Mimiko Remian in Office For the Next Four Years



Dr Olusegun Mimiko has been declared winner of the 20th of October 2012 Governorship election in Ondo state with total of 260,199 votes over the  PDP candidate Olushola Oke who pulled 155,961 Votes and the ACN candidate Rotimi Akeredolu with 143,512 Votes. The result was anounce today in Akure by The INEC returning officer and Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Adebiyi Daramola. Mimiko is the first incumbent Governor to be re-elected in second term in office since 1999.
