Pres. Jonathan Appoints Bode George’s wife, Roli, As New NDLEA Boss

Mrs. Roli Bode-George as been appointed the new Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) by President Goodluck Jonathan. The appointment was actually announced this
evening by Presidential Spokesperson, Reuben Abati.

Roli takes over from Mr Olufemi Ajayi, who has been made the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).

The appointment is with immediate effect.



Chief Bode George was arrested and jailed
for fraud and abuse of office when he was the chairman of the Nigeria Ports Authority, but was later upturned by the Supreme Court.
