The burning desire to be somebody is inherent in every human being. Nobody wants to feel small, insignificant and out of place. Your life is not over because things have gone wrong. It is over when you stop believing and thinking that things can turn right. It is over when you stop dreaming and hoping. It is over when you sit down to complain, grumble, murmur and quit. It is over when you embrace failure-message as your own reality. It is over when you stop thinking positive thoughts. It is over when you enroll in the school of worrywarts. It is over when you disbelieve in your Creator and believe in the created. It is over when you follow the crowd to believe a lie about your situations. It is over when you remain in the company of wrong people taking you nowhere.
To think like a champion, you have to learn to sell yourself to yourself, you have to learn to encourage yourself by yourself with yourself for yourself. You only have to think like it. You have to believe you can make a difference in an indifferent world. The world may not think much of you but never think less of yourself. Remember, you can’t move to the next level by thinking the wrong thoughts. Winning does not mean you have come first, it means you have crossed the border-line. It means you have challenged yourself to give in your best. There will always be people ahead of you, but those who have gone ahead cannot stop you from reaching your destiny. The most important thing is to be on the right road, doing the right thing, and heading towards the right direction. Obstacles do not mean you can’t make it. Failure does not mean you should stop trying. Delay does not mean never. God’s plan and purpose for you cannot be aborted or frustrated by any man. Keep your dreams alive. Focus your mind on winning. Don’t stand still; keep on moving, keep on believing God’s ark will not close until the snail and the tortoise get in.
You are not late until you are late; you are not hopeless until you are lifeless. Others may not give you a chance but don’t cancel your name out of those destined to win. You may be coming from the wrong side of life but you are not a social misfit, never! Affirm yourself-limitation. Remember, you win first in the mind before you win outside. The beauty of life is that you’ve got a choice to think “can” or “can’t”; to give in or keep on keeping on; to frown or to smile, to mourn or to dance; to cry or to sing; to have a pity party or to develop the winners’ mentality – which is the “can do spirit” or to loose control or to take charge. It’s not your condition that ruts you down but your attitude. Rise up and win. In the end, you will come to this discovery that the small difference that makes the big difference between winners and losers is simply attitude.
