A saudi Arabian man who was being treated for Ebola died today August 6th, 2014 at a hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the health ministry said.
According to a post on the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health’s website, the unidentified 40-year-old man was being treated for symptoms of the deadly visur in an isolated ward when he suddenly died after suffering a cardiac arrest.
The website also stated that the man had visited Sierra Leone recently, one of the countries being ravage by the deadly Ebola virus and may have contacted the virus there.
This will actually be the first suspected Ebola related death outside Africa since the outbreak. The world Heath Organization said that 932 people have so far died from the virus.
