Unilag Students Protest Hike in Registration Fee, Shut Down Campus

There is a serious protest currently going on at the University of Lagos. Students are protesting UNILAG authority demanding that some students pay as high as N20,000 for late editing or registration of Course Forms.

The students first converge at the University’s Senate Building where they shouted slogan and sand protest songs. they then left the senate building to all the faculties in the University demanding their rights.

They then blocked the entrances to the University, preventing cars from going in and out of the campus.

The students also claim that they registered late because the University management shut the school portal against registration, only for the school to be demanding for an extra N20,000 from students registering late.
