WHO Declares Nigeria Ebola Free

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has officially declared Nigeria Ebola free after 6 weeks with no new Ebola cases.

Nigeria won praise for its fast and good response after an infected Liberian diplomat brought the disease in July 2014.

The WHO officially declared Senegal Ebola-free on Friday.

The Ebola outbreak has killed more than 4,500 people in West Africa, mostly in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone.
